Wedding + Events
I love being part of weddings and events and want to make sure your photography experience runs as smoothly as possible! A little preparation ahead of time can make a huge difference on the day of your event.
Coverage Hours
Your photography coverage will vary depending on the package you purchase. Your contracted package will specify the number of hours of coverage included.
Coverage begins and ends according to the agreed-upon schedule. Additional coverage may be available for purchase if requested and if my schedule allows.
Venue Information
Please provide Studio23 Photos with the full address of your event venue(s) before your event date.
If the venue has any photography restrictions, rules, or requirements, please communicate these to me ahead of time. This may include restrictions regarding:
- Flash photography
- Where photography is permitted
- Equipment or lighting restrictions
- Photography during ceremonies
- Areas that are off-limits to photographers
- Required photographer credentials or permissions
- Drone or other equipment restrictions
- Any other venue-specific policies that may affect photography
Providing this information ahead of time allows me to prepare appropriately and avoid any surprises on the day of your event.
Please note: While I will do my best to follow all venue policies that have been communicated to me, the Client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding venue restrictions.
Timeline & Shot List
To help everything run as smoothly as possible, please provide Studio23 Photos with a copy of your wedding or event timeline and your desired shot list before the event date. Having these details ahead of time allows me enough time to review everything, prepare, and make sure I know what moments and photographs are most important to you. Your timeline and shot list can include specific moments, details, people, locations, or any photographs that you especially want captured.
Family & Group Photos
If you would like family, wedding party, or other group photographs, please provide a list of the groups you would like photographed before your event.
For example, a wedding shot list might include:
- Bride & Groom
- Bride + Bridesmaids (including names is extremely helpful!)
- Groom + Groomsmen
- Bride + Parents
- Groom + Parents
- Bride & Groom + Both Sets of Parents
- Bride + Siblings
- Groom + Siblings
- Bride & Groom + Immediate Family
- Entire Wedding Party
Including the names of the people in each group is incredibly helpful and allows me to quickly identify who needs to be in each photograph.
Helping Group Photos Run Smoothly
For larger family or group photographs, I strongly recommend designating a family member, member of the wedding party, or another person who knows the guests to help call out the names of the next group.
For example, while I am photographing one group, your designated helper can locate the people needed for the next photograph and have them ready to go. This keeps everyone from having to search for missing family members between photographs and helps group photos move quickly and efficiently, giving you more time to enjoy your wedding or event.
While I will do my best to organize and direct group photographs, I cannot be responsible for guests who are unavailable, unwilling, or unable to participate in a requested photograph.
Your Event, Your Priorities
Your wedding or event is unique, and I want to capture the moments that matter most to you. Please communicate any must-have photographs, special traditions, important people, or specific moments with me ahead of time.
The more information I have before your event, the better prepared I can be to capture your day the way you envision it. 🤍
