Booking + Retainers

A retainer is required to officially reserve your session or event date. Your date is not considered booked until the required retainer has been received. Retainers are used to reserve your specific date and time and compensate Studio23 Photos for turning away other potential bookings for that time. The specific retainer amount for each session is listed in the individual session description. The retainer is applied toward the total session price, with the remaining balance due before or on the date of your session.



Please see the Cancellation & Refund Policy for information regarding cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling. The remaining balance must be paid by the deadline provided at the time of booking. Failure to pay the remaining balance by the required date may result in cancellation of the session or event and forfeiture of the retainer.
