Cancellations + Refunds

Because your session date and time are reserved exclusively for you, a 50% retainer is required at the time of booking. The retainer is applied toward your total session price and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

If you have paid your session balance in full and need to cancel, refunds will be based on how far in advance the cancellation is made:

• More than 30 days before your session: You will receive a 50% refund of the total amount paid.
• 15–30 days before your session: You will receive a 25% refund of the total amount paid.
• Less than 15 days before your session: No refund will be issued.

Example

For a $300 session with the full $300 paid at booking:

• If you cancel more than 30 days before your session, you would receive a $150 refund, and Studio23 Photos would retain $150.
• If you cancel 15–30 days before your session, you would receive a $75 refund, and Studio23 Photos would retain $225.
• If you cancel less than 15 days before your session, no refund would be issued.



In the event that a session is considered a no-show, no refund will be issued, including any payments made toward the session.

The retainer will be forfeited, and any remaining balance that has already been paid will also be non-refundable.



If you wish to book a new session following a no-show, a new retainer will be required to reserve a new date and time.

The purpose of this policy is to compensate Studio23 Photos for reserving your date and time and potentially turning away other clients who may have wanted to book that same time.
